Position Head of Solution Strategy and Development

Keith specialises in Lifecycle Asset Management Solutions – “From Strategy to Replace or Repair”. This includes the definition of functional solutions that meet your business requirements, business process re-engineering, change management and replacement or integration of existing legacy systems. He is recognised as one of the leading SAP Asset Management Solution Architects in Australia from both a financial and logistics perspective. He has in depth SAP functional knowledge, as well as a thorough understanding of the supporting systems and business processes that deliver value to organisations.

This knowledge led to the development of the TAMS Integrated Solution Map ©. In his role as Head of Solution Strategy and Development Keith will be responsible for tailoring the solutions map for your needs, defining the strategy for implementation and involvement in the implementation from a quality and delivery perspective. His role also encompasses investigating new solutions to further enhance TAMS solution offerings.

Keith has worked on over 30 implementations and upgrades as well as providing general consulting services. Throughout his career he has held the following key roles: Project Manager, Solution Architect, Team Leader, SAP Trainer – academy level (SAP Brussels, Belgium), member of the SAP Review Team (UK), SAP QA and Analyst (SAP Walldorf, Germany) and a Product Lifecycle Management Practice Leader (Australia).

Prior to his SAP career Keith held several senior financial and logistic roles. He was the Administration Superintendent across multiple mine sites, a Financial Controller and a Systems and Management Accountant. Within these roles he was recognised as a leader in management accounting principles and analytical studies, identifying initiatives and improvements to maximise investments. This business experience has enabled him to write the costing methodology / accounting framework (management and integration accounting principles) on multiple SAP implementations. In addition Keith has been able to assist organisations with the definition of key performance indicators and reporting requirements.

Keith’s knowledge of SAP along with his strong presentation skills makes him an excellent speaker and he is often requested to speak at industry conferences. His presentation “Aligning the Organisations Program and Project Methodology with SAP” was ranked number one at the Mastering SAP Project System Conference in 2008. Keith was voted the most Influential Person in SAP for 2009 and amongst Top Ten Influential people 2010 by the Australian and New Zealand readers of the Inside SAP Magazine and judging committees.

Mark’s current specialisation in SAP is Real Estate. Mark has work for clients involved in the Utility Industry, Property Development, Financial Services, Professional Services, Hi-Tech and the Public Sector in various roles from Functional Consultant, Team Lead, Project Manager and Solution Architect. During his time in Australia, Mark has held the roles of Solution Architect for a well-known property developer, and a Real Estate Team Lead for a large federal government organisation.

Before relocating to Australia, Mark worked for HCL AXON in the UK for 5 years and was involved in a number of Real Estate projects in the UK, and presales work in Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States of America.

Prior to joining HCL-AXON, Mark worked for Csiper Consulting (A SAP implementation Partner) in South Africa, and was involved in a number of SAP projects – Dimension Data PLC (SAP – Finance), Spoornet (SAP Real Estate), Arivia – Leasing Solution (SAP Finance, Fixed Asset and Procurement), Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (Project and Integration Manager), and SAP Real Estate for ESKOM (Electricity Generation and Distribution).

Mark is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and after graduating was involved in a number of large commercial and retail property developments in both South Africa and the Philippines whilst working for Farrow Laing Davis Langdon & Seah. In addition, he was involved in a large engineering project for water supply utility in Lesotho.

After completing an MBA (Finance) at the University of the Witwatersrand 1992, he worked for a large IT systems integrator in various commercial and finance positions.
